Through Christ ALL things ARE POSSIBLE!

You know, God truly does show you the way; His love for us never fails. <3 It has taken me a lot to realize that all things are possible and that with hard work good things come. I was so fearful a month ago, the thought of raising $3,650 intimidated me. I was overwhelmed and surprised at the individuals who reached out to me. I decided the stress I was creating was not worth it, and prayed that God would alleviate this pressure I was feeling. It was a day later that I realized ” I can do this” and “I will not give up” and “I will not let this stress me out” because I am going to KENYA to impact so many beautiful lives. I have raised half of the amount I need for my trip. I need to raise $1,875 more dollars and my goal will be met. The individuals who encouraged me, and believed in me are the ones I want to express my sincere gratitude to.

I decided I should put my “craftiness” to work and most importantly to a good cause. As most of you know, I will be going to Kenya on a Medical Mission trip this November and I need to raise 3,650 $. Yeah, your probably thinking, “wow that is a lot of money” and at first I did too but I know God wants me on this trip, and I am determined to reach my goal. Here is a good way to look at it; If I had 100 people donate 35 dollars then my goal would be reached. Thus far, my friends & family have been so generous and donated more than that amount. KENYA NOV 2012

Hi Everyone! I am starting this blog as a way to communicate about my upcoming medical mission trip to Kenya. The trip will be from November 1^st-10^th, 2012. My team will be composed of nurses, doctors, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, nursing students, medical related professionals, and non medical professions. There will be 25 of us traveling to a rural community in Ngaamba, Kenya to serve alongside the 410 Bridge. The 410 bridge has partnered with GlobalX to provide opportunities to go and serve through short-term mission trips. GlobalX indicates that the trip is composed of individuals who attend North Point Community Church. Team members will minster to the people of the 410 Bridge community of Ngaamba, Kenya through medical care. Medical trips include hosting medical camps, teaching community seminars on health related topics, working on a local medical clinic, and assisting the local leadership in sharing the love of Christ with community members. We will work alongside Kenyan medical professionals to minister to adults and children.

I am asking all my friends, and family to support me as I prepare for this spiritual journey. I will need to raise 3600. I know that this amount sounds intimidating, but I know it is not impossible.
